Dr. Stu Rubin
Dr. Stu Rubin founded Dental Home Services over twenty-five years ago after his Father-in-law suffered a debilitating stroke that left him home bound. He saw firsthand the difficulties that were encountered by both home bound patients and their families and wanted to do what he could to help them. Dr. Stu is very well known in the home health care community, and over 240 assisted living facilities have chosen Dental Home Services to be the provider of dental treatment for their residents. Stu is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and has been selected to be on the Board of Directors of Alzheimer’s New Jersey. He was also named Humanitarian of the Year by Caregiver Volunteers. Dr. Rubin is a Jersey Boy through and through, having attended both college and dental school at Rutgers. He is a season ticket holder for both Rutgers football and basketball (Hey, they’re getting there!). Dr. Rubin completed his residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Stu is married to his wife, Sue. They have a son, Adam, who is an Elder Law attorney in East Brunswick, and a daughter, Dental Home Services’ very own Dr. Lindsay Rubin.
Dr. Lindsay Rubin
Dr. Lindsay Rubin is a graduate of nationally ranked Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She continued her education with a residency at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in the Hell’s Kitchen section of Manhattan, which included extensive emergency room coverage. Dr. Lindsay is passionate about bringing quality dentistry to seniors and the disabled and teaches home care dentistry techniques to fellow dentists. Dr. Rubin lives in Monmouth County with her husband, Tom, and their two always smiling little girls, Maddie and Ellie. Their family loves going to the beach and the boardwalk.
Dr. Jeff Poirier
Dr. Poirier is originally from Massachusetts. He received his undergraduate degree from St. Joseph’s College in Maine, and his dental degree from Temple Dental School in Philadelphia. Jeff volunteered at the Harvard Dental Clinic for two years. His upbeat personality and amusing anecdotes are appreciated by his patients and the staff. He loves to travel, spend time with family, and play music. He was a DJ, loves 80’s music, and collects synthesizers from that era. Dr. Poirier lives in Orange with his husband, Manny, and their rescue animals, 2 dogs and 3 cats.
Dr. Jared Sluka
Dr. Sluka was born in Kinnelon, NJ. He received his undergraduate in Biology from Marist College, and his dental degree from UMDNJ, before completing a residency at Staten Island University Hospital. Jared also practices dentistry with his dad, who was a dental school classmate of Dr. Stu Rubin. He is a huge sports fan and continues to support the NY Jets, as difficult as that may be. Dr. Sluka enjoys spending time at the beach, attending sporting events, and riding roller coasters. Jared lives in Boonton with his wife Natalie and their dog, Neka.
Dr. Henry Tang
Dr. Tang was born in Taiwan. He attended Baruch College, CUNY and holds a degree in Bio Medical science. Henry completed his dental training at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and his residency at University Hospital in Newark. He really enjoys providing dental care to the underserved community. Dr. Tang enjoys reading, cooking, hiking and movies. He is a real animal lover. Henry lives in Newark with his wife and their dog.
Dr. Chris Garofalo
Chris is originally from Middletown, NJ. He received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers, and his dental degree from Columbia University. He followed this up with a residency at Jersey Shore Medical Center. Dr. Garofalo enjoys helping people who are unable to go to a dental office. He is a big sports fan, especially Yankees, Giants, Rangers, and the Scarlet Knights. Chris also loves reading and going to the beach. He lives in Neptune.
Dr. Nozrin Laskar
Dr. Laskar hails from Paterson. She earned degrees in Molecular Biology, Chemistry and Religious Studies from Montclair State University. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration on oral biology. Dr. Laskar completed her dental studies at NYU College of Dentistry and her residency at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson. Dr. Laskar has been volunteering in her community for years: at soup kitchens, hosting fund raisers, and working with youth groups. She provided dental care to Tibetan refugees and Nepali natives while traveling to Nepal. Dr. Laskar enjoys hiking, reading, cooking and working out. She aspires to one day climb any of the Himalayan mountains. Dr. Laskar and her husband, Michael, live in Elizabeth.
Dr. Azan Mehdi
Dr. Mehdi was raised in rural Connecticut and has always had a passion for being involved in the community. Having been a teacher, coach and a mentor In the past has allowed him to gain experience with all different types of people. Azan has also been involved in various fields of healthcare such as in the emergency room and assisted living facilities. Dr. Medhi attended the University of Connecticut for his Bachelor’s degree and enjoyed attending UConn basketball games. He obtained his Doctorate degree from New York University College of Dentistry and enjoyed living in the Big Apple. In his spare time, Azan enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, camping, and off-roading.
Dr. Gabe Milgrom
Dr. Milgrom was raised in Staten Island, NY but has always been a big fan of the New Jersey beaches and outdoor scenery. Dr. Milgrom attended Stony Brook University where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Business Management. Dr. Milgrom went on to pursue a career in Dentistry at NYU College of Dentistry and completed a General Practice Residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center. He really enjoys Mobile Dentistry as it is a very rewarding field and allows him to provide dental care for a population that really needs and appreciates the services provided
